The 2018 Guidebook was designed to assist new students to NSB with essential information including bell times, uniform shop and canteen prices, free software, and more. It was distributed to all Year 7 and new Year 11 students at the start of the year, along with a copy of the school map and bell times. The inaugural guidebook received positive recognition across the whole school with students and teachers supporting the idea.

Following the success of the 2018 Guidebook, a new version with updated information was produced for 2019. Over 500 copies of the 2019 Guidebook were distributed to students, parents and visitors over the year, including at Open Days and information sessions.
